Claire is from Waterford and is currently undertaking a Masters degree in Economic Analysis in the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick. Prior to this degree, Claire graduated with a Bachelor of Business Studies with a major in Economics and Finance and a minor in Law. Research interests include, but are not limited to, macroeconomics, health economics, and behavioural economics. She has a keen interest in applying theory to real-world situations. Claire’s thesis focuses on the economic costs of the skin disease epidermolysis bullosa (EB) and is a proud supporter of the charity Debra Ireland. When not inspiring the next generation of UL students in weekly tutorials, Claire’s hobbies include reading and going to fitness classes. She is often disliked for correcting people’s grammar and spelling mistakes.
